Sure enough, Kassie found us a bar in Bangkok to watch the end of game seven of the World Series.
Mass producing rice crepes at the market in Bangkok.
Paul and Paul holding on tight on the 39 cent Bangkok river commuter boat. They go in to the piers fast, hit hard, and they don't wait long for you to get on and off. If you're not ready to jump on or off, you will miss your stop - or "miss the boat".
Haggling for a deal on a tuk tuk.
No, we didn't eat them!
Kho San Road in Bangkok. Big backpacker hangout.
A room right on the beach on the island of Koh Lanta. Koh Lanta is a beautiful island that is not built up. Most of the hotels are small mom and pop run places on the beach. It has a bohemian feel and very popular for those that want to just come and relax.
We rented scooters on Koh Lanta and on our way found a boat excursion that took us through the mangroves.
A long tail boat. We were a little concerned when the boat captain had to hand crank the engine to get it started.
Water world?
MonkEEEE as our boat captain pointed out.
"Don't feed the monkeys". Our boat captain did, of course.
They will come on the boat and won't leave. Our captain had to shake one monkey off of the "tail" of our boat so we could escape from the monkeys.
Chilling out on the front porch overlooking the beach.
We spent a couple of nights in Ao Nang and took a cruise to four islands just off the coast of southern Thailand.
Right off the travel brochure.
Hammocks work well almost anywhere.
Mixing up papaya salad. It was delicious and so fresh.
A little cultural sensitivity.
A little beer on the beach.

We tried to get a picture of our boat captain sitting on a full jug of gasoline smoking a cigarette.
