Arriving in Bangkok, Thailand

We had a great travel experience to Bangkok.  We flew Korean Air which we highly recommend.  We had  an empty seat between us on the long haul to Seoul, South Korea so we had a row of seats to ourselves--Score!!  Both Seoul and Bangkok airports are very modern.  We weren't quite sure where to go once we landed so we just followed the masses.  It was 1 AM by the time we got to the hotel so we were able to go to bed after being up for 34 hours. 

 Bangkok is an explosion to the senses.  It's crazy busy, noisy, smelly  and amazing.  I was so entranced with what was going on around me that I about got run over more than once.  It's like the video game Frogger trying to cross the street.....oh yeah and the motorbikes ride on the sidewalk...that was another time I almost got run over!  We spent a couple days taking trains and boat taxis to various places and walked all over the place.    Half the fun was just trying to figure out how to get anywhere!   There were times we kept taking the same train back and forth to the same station, getting us nowhere. That was funny!    We visited Wat Pho  which is the Temple of Reclining Buddha.  We loved Bangkok but time to move on to the Gulf of Thailand islnds.  Our next stop.....Koh Pha Ngan.   (Kas)
